Welcome to
my CHALICE page. I
have been keeping chalice since about 1998. I have or have had
Echinopora, Echinophyllia, Echinomorpha, Mycedium and Oxypora.
Some of the new chalice colors we are seeing are truly stellar.
This one has been an obsession of mine for awhile. Click on
images for larger pics. |

One of my late 1990s/early 2000s fragging session growouts in my first
Rubbermaid frag tank.

This is really where my
obsession with chalice began. My first alien eye.

Generally
chalice like medium/lower light and medium flow. I have a
couple exceptions. My aussie Blue Snakeskin and Pink Snakeskin
echinophyllia are liking it higher up in the tank under a bit more
intense lighting. My 250 watt 14K MH bulbs are in Lumerarc
reflectors and are about 18" off the water. Here are a few
pics of some of my favorites. |
